Employee input makes workers into 'team players'. Brainstorming at meetings gives the employees an 'open forum' to voice their suggestions. Performance Bonuses gave them the incentive to 'go the extra mile'. It could be cash..or...the top producer gets one Friday off each month with pay. If you're considering expanding...make it a business that will 'compliment' the one you already have. If you were to have a hair salon upstairs...then a nail salon and botique downstairs would compliment the business and not compete...generating more income. If we knew what kind of business you're running, it would be easier to zone in on some other ideas. Are you at the top of your game in your initial business? If not, expansion wont do it. Get employees to buy into your work - even profit sharing - if the bottom line improves, they get....
